The Tour Map View displays your virtual tours directly on an interactive 2D map, offering a unique geographic perspective to your viewers. This feature allows users to easily navigate and explore different locations as if they were traveling the globe. It is especially useful for showcasing projects with geographically diverse content or highlighting multiple properties across different regions.

Select Publish - Tour Maps, from the side menu.
Click the + icon located in the top right corner of the screen
In the window that appears, enter a title into the Name field.
Select whether you want to display Tours or Rooms within this mode.
Click the + Create button.
After creating your new map, you will be automatically redirected to the settings page. Here, you can configure the map's behavior, appearance, and starting position:
  • Name: Enter a custom title for your map.
  • Open Target: Choose how the virtual tour opens when a user clicks a marker (e.g., in the same window or a new tab).
  • Enabled View: Select which map types are available to the user (e.g., Street only, Satellite only, or Both).
  • Default View: Choose whether the map initially loads with the Street or Satellite layout.
  • Marker Size (px): Adjust the visual size (in pixels) of the tour placement markers on the map.
  • Zoom Level: Set the specific zoom level applied when the map loads or when a user clicks on a marker.
  • Zoom Animation Duration (ms): Set the length of the zoom animation (in milliseconds) when a user interacts with a point.
  • Cluster Distance: Adjust the slider to determine how close markers must be to one another before they visually group together into a single cluster.
  • Marker Color: Customize the main solid color of your tour positioning markers.
  • Marker Pulse Color: Customize the color of the animated pulse or glow effect surrounding your markers.
  • Google Analytics Tracking ID: Input your GA tracking code to monitor visitor traffic and interactions on your map.
  • Enable Cookie Consent: Check this box to display a standard cookie consent banner for privacy compliance.
  • Enable PWA: Check this box to enable Progressive Web App functionality, allowing users to install the map experience directly on their devices.
  • Street - Tiles: Select the visual provider and style for your standard street map (e.g., CARTO Dark).
  • Street - Custom URL / Attribution: If using a custom tile provider for your street view, you can input the custom URL here and assign the proper copyright attribution.
  • Satellite - Tiles: Select the visual provider and style for your satellite map (e.g., ArcGIS Satellite).
  • Satellite - Custom URL / Attribution: If using a custom tile provider for your satellite view, you can input the custom URL here and assign the proper copyright attribution.
  • Logo: Upload a custom image or company logo to display on the map interface.
  • Initial Position: Click the Set button to define the exact starting coordinates and zoom when the map first loads. Tip: If you remove this or leave it blank, the map will automatically center itself to fit all of your placed tours on the screen.
To assign virtual tours to a Tour Map click on "+" icon.
A modal will open where you can select the tour. To add it click on the "+ Create" button.
Once a point is placed on the map, you can easily adjust its exact location using either of the following methods:
  • Drag and Drop: Click and hold the point to visually drag it to a new position on the map.
  • Manual Entry: Type the exact numerical coordinates directly into the Latitude and Longitude fields for absolute precision.
Scrolling further down the page you will find sections to change the globe's meta tags and publish link / embed code.
